Grilled Shrimp SaladAs mentioned in the past, The Cabin Restaurant also offers healthy alternatives to dishes like our Fried Seafood Platter. Today’s recipe is no exception; a Grilled Shrimp salad is both light and filling. Top it with our homemade Blue Cheese dressing, and you have a delicious, healthy meal for lunch or dinner.

Grilled Shrimp Salad
1 salad

6 ea. 26/30 count peeled and deveined shrimp
3 cups Lettuce blend
1/2 cup Diced cucumbers (1/2” dice)
1/2 cup Diced tomatoes (1/2” dice)
1 Tin slice of purple onion
2 oz. Shredded cheddar cheese

Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and grill until done. Set aside

Place lettuce on a serving plate, scatter the cucumbers and tomatoes over the lettuce and top with the shrimp

Serve with your choice of dressing and cheese on the side

Blue Cheese Dressing
Makes 1 qt.

1 pint Mayonnaise
3 oz. Sour cream
4 oz. Blue cheese crumbles
1/2 oz. White vinegar
1/2 oz. Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Coarse black pepper

Mix mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth

Add blue cheese, onions, and other ingredients

Stir well, making sure to reach the bottom of the bucket

Refrigerate immediately
